Just in case you’re trying to wrap your head around why AT&T is down or not working for you, find solace in the fact that you aren’t the only one facing connectivity issues.

A quick scroll through Twitter reveals there are many others affected by the same issue. As per reports, the service isn’t working or broken for them, meaning no way to access data services or calls.

For a quick glance, here’s how some of the complainants word the problem:

Down detector – a popular service that gives information about live outages – also conveys that AT&T service is indeed down going through a glitch in multiple regions across the U.S., as can be seen in the image below:

Any official word on the matter? None so far, although some of those affected say AT&T support has kind of acknowledged the matter, but we are yet to come across any of this in official capacity.

Update 1 (November 09)

IST 12:00 pm: A slew of new reports on Social media indicate that AT&T is having an outage. Downdetector also shows a sharp rise in the number of new reports over the past couple hours.

IST 06:21 pm: AT&T service seems to have been restored in all areas that suffered an outage early today, as indicated on Downdetector.

Update 2 (November 30)

IST 11:24 am: Reports from AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon subscribers indicate that there might be a massive outage. This, as users note that they are unable to make cross-carrier calls. This seems to have been resolved.

Update 3 (April 13, 2022)

IST 08:31 am: AT&T subscribers have been facing an issue with the service for roughly half an hour. Reports on Twitter and Downdetector have been piling up. However, there’s no official word on the matter yet.

Update 4 (April 14, 2022)

01:09 pm (IST): It appears that the recent issue with AT&T is now resolved as we haven’t come across any fresh reports on Downdetector.

Update 5 (June 29, 2022)

12:40 pm (IST): Fresh user reports (1, 2) suggest that AT&T is currently down or not working for many.

06:30 pm (IST): According to reports on Downdetector, the recent outage with AT&T has now been resolved.

Update 6 (August 15, 2022)

10:08 am (IST): According to fresh reports (1, 2, 3, 4), AT&T is currently down or not working for many.

06:50 pm (IST): Fresh reports on Downdetector indicate that the recent outage with AT&T has now been resolved.

Update 7 (Sept. 27, 2022)

11:54 am (IST): An expeditious spike in the number of reports on Downdetector suggests that AT&T is currently down or not working for many subscribers.

06:34 pm (IST): According to reports on Downdetector, the recent outage with AT&T has now been resolved.

Update 8 (Oct. 12, 2022)

10:50 pm (IST): Downdetector and Twitter showed reports of AT&T service being down for the last couple of hours. However, things appear to have been normalized now.

Update 9 (Apr. 3, 2023)

04:22 pm (IST): AT&T internet services are currently down or not working for some users (1, 2). The support team has acknowledged the issue, but there is no ETA for a fix yet.
