MLB The Show 23 is a baseball video game based on Major League Baseball (MLB) developed by San Diego Studio. The gameplay styles are also designed to provide each player with a distinctive experience.

In fact, the casual and simulation gameplay style adjustments are also ongoing. Moreover, early access has just been made available starting March 23, 2023, for fans around the world.

However, MLB The Show 23 players are dissatisfied and have reported on Twitter that they are not getting their pre-order bonuses. They are also concerned about the whereabouts of their packs and stubs (1,2,3,4,5,6).

Although players have been unable to redeem their pre-order bonus, it is disheartening that fans have signed up expecting early access to the game’s content.

To make matters worse, some are also saying that the Face scan is also not working. While for others it is not available at all (1,2,3,4).

It is incredibly frustrating for the players and they are exhibiting their frustration by asking the team to give their pre-order bonuses at the earliest.

It appears that the creators are now urging players to visit the store in order to redeem their stubs and packs.

The fact that the developers are asking for the same is the underlying possibility that gamers aren’t searching for the rewards in the right places. So, they could attempt to go to the store for a potential fix.

09:59 pm (IST): The early access of MLB The Show has ended and the standard game is now fully available.

However, players are still facing issues where pre-order bonuses are missing (1, 2, 3) and face scan functionality is not available (1, 2, 3).

10:29 am (IST): Fortunately, the MLB The Show support team has acknowledged the Face scan issue saying that they’re investigating the problem and are working on fixing it.

12:45 pm (IST): The Companion app is now available to install on App Store and players should now be able to access the face scan.
