Are EA servers down, or FIFA 21 game not working for you at the moment? Please be informed that the service is seemingly going through an outage in some regions which has got affected users to route to micro-blogging site Twitter and other online discussion platforms to highlight their concern.

Coming to whether there’s an official word on the matter, well, FIFA Direct Communication conveyed a maintenance a few hours back.

We will be performing online maintenance on FIFA 21 for PS4/PS5/X1/XSX|S/PC/Stadia/Switch at 06:00 UTC (Apr 28).

During the maintenance, all online services and features will be unavailable.

We will be disabling match creation 30 mins prior (05:30 UTC).

FYI this maintenance came after the PSN outage that occurred recently but was addressed in time.

The PSN issue which affected players connecting to EA Servers on PS4/PS5 has been addressed. Players should now be able to connect again.

We’re keeping a continuous tab on the service’s social media and other official channels for more information. So we’ll update this page with relevant info as and when we catch hold of any. In case you’re facing the problem discussed here, stay tuned for more updates.

12:58 pm (IST): It appears that EA servers are currently down (1, 2) for many gamers, as a result of which they aren’t able to access FIFA (1, 2).

07:37 pm (IST): Reports on Downdetector (1, 2) now indicate that the recent issue with EA and FIFA has now been resolved.

09:41 am (IST): According to fresh reports on Twitter and Downdetector, FIFA 23 servers are currently down or not working for many.

07:44 pm (IST): The recent outage with FIFA 23 servers has now been fixed as we haven’t come across any fresh reports.

12:51 pm (IST): Multiple reports indicate that the FIFA 23 servers are currently in the midst of an outage (1, 2, 3). Downdetector platform also reflects the increasing reports on the issue.

10:59 pm (IST): Some FIFA 23 players are now reporting (1, 2) that the servers are currently down or not working for them.

However, FIFA support had already informed players that there will be scheduled maintenance for a few hours. So, this explains the current outage.

We have a scheduled maintenance on December 22, 5:00 AM – 8:00 AM UTC. During this time, you may be disconnected or unable to access online services. Match creation will be disabled 30 min prior to the maintenance. Titles impacted: FIFA 23 on all platforms. (Source)

06:58 pm (IST): The recent outage with FIFA 23 appears to have been resolved as we haven’t come across any fresh reports.

10:56 am (IST): FIFA support informed players (in advance) that there will be scheduled maintenance for FIFA 23 and FUT web app on January 12 at 1 PM UTC.

We have a scheduled maintenance on January 12, 5 AM – 1 PM UTC. During this time, you may be disconnected or unable to access online services.

Match creation will be disabled 30 min prior to the maintenance. Titles impacted: FIFA 23 on all platforms and the FUT Web App. (Source)

And due to this, many players are currently facing issues (1, 2, 3) accessing these services.

07:30 pm (IST): While FIFA support didn’t inform back if the recent maintenance has been completed, it seems that the servers are now back up as we haven’t come across any fresh reports suggesting they are still down.

09:20 am (IST): Multiple players are getting connection errors when trying to access Division Rivals and FUT Champions (1, 2, 3). The issue has been acknowledged.

09:20 am (IST): The FIFA 23 outage on ‘Rival’ and ‘FUT Champs’ modes has been addressed by EA.

11:00 am (IST): Reports on Downdetector indicate that EA and FIFA servers are currently down. This is apparently due to ongoing maintenance as per FIFA support.

07:00 pm (IST): According to reports on Downdetector, the current issue FIFA has finally been resolved as maintenance is over.

12:53 pm (IST): Proliferating reports on Downdetector now suggest that EA and FIFA 23 servers are currently down or not working for a section of gamers.

05:55 pm (IST): The recent outages with EA and FIFA 23 have been resolved.

02:09 pm (IST): Due to an ongoing outage on the EA servers, FIFA 23 online modes are currently unavailable as well (1, 2, 3).

12:47 pm (IST): The recent FIFA 23 outage has been fixed.

11:22 am (IST): EA servers continue to experience issues, which is also affecting FIFA 23 (and older versions) players (1, 2).

05:42 pm (IST): The issues have been fixed, and the game is working properly again.

08:32 am (IST): The online modes of all FIFA games (including FIFA 23) are currently down due to scheduled maintenance.

01:10 pm (IST): The recent maintenance has now ended and players should now be able to access all the online modes without any issues.
