One of the best first-person shooter games, COD: Modern Warfare 2, offers gamers something to look forward to every few weeks with its seasonal release schedule.

Likewise, the Season 2 Reloaded update has been released introducing various improvements. It now has new modes, the Himmelmatt Expo core map, and more.

COD Modern Warfare 2 ‘Close Quarters’ criticized

However, a number of COD: Modern Warfare 2 players (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) are disappointed to see the maps in the new ‘Close Quarters’ playlist. Apparently, the new maps are huge in size and in no way fulfill the playlist’s objectives.

Close quarters playlist is nothing just the massive new map and farm 18?? Just make shipment 24/7 permanent. I swear y’all are so insanely disconnected from the players, it’s sad.

Resultantly, players are absolutely dismayed to see the maps as they are not at all what would be termed a ‘Close Quarters’ map. The fact that the playlist also includes the Himmelmatt map is the biggest issue.

This brand-new Core Multiplayer map lets you deploy to a scenic winter retreat. But it seems that players are not convinced that a map like Hammelmatt can ever be categorized as ‘small-large maps’.

Therefore, some players now want the playlist to be reorganized, starting with Himmelmatt being dropped (1,2,3,4,5).

Unfortunately, the developers haven’t commented on this matter where several players feel that the ‘Close Quarters’ playlist is far too huge.

We hope that the team looks into this matter and comes up with certain changes accordingly.

We’ll keep tabs on the latest developments and update this article if significant events occur.
