FanFiction is one of the first and largest fan fiction libraries in the world that lets you read millions of stories and publish your own, without charge.

However, some creators’ stories analytics have recently started acting up as it has stopped updating, or registering the traffic that they have been getting.

Multiple reports on Twitter and Reddit indicate that the FanFiction story stats are broken or not working for several users (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10).

Creators are having trouble seeing the number of views on their posts owing to the broken stats functionality. The platform has not been updating or registering stats for quite some days now.

For some, it is also not displaying reviews on their stories unless they use their phones. The glitch makes it appear as though creators are not receiving any visitors to their posts or stories.

Although it’s been said that the issue might get fixed in the 2023 Match update, it is nonetheless very frustrating for the affected users.

Fortunately, the developers are aware of the issue and said that the team is currently working on it. It’ll hopefully be fixed in the upcoming days.

* Translation feature, currently app only, will be introduced to the web interface in a later update.

There’s no workaround that can help fix the issue where FanFiction story stats are not working. But affected users can wait for the team to come up with a fix at the earliest.
