Hogwarts Legacy is in the news once again. This time, some players are unable to complete the ‘Dogweed and Deathcap’ quest due to a bug.

Some players report (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), they are unable to interact with the dogweed and deathcap merchant or vendor when trying to buy seeds.

It is alleged that there is no prompt to interact with her, and due to this, they are unable to complete the quest. The issue has been persistent for the past few days.

A player complains that after having purchased the seeds from the shop and fast traveling back to the Room of Requirement, the game crashed.

Also, the next time they loaded the game, neither they had the seeds nor could they interact with the shopkeeper at all, making it impossible for them to get ahead in the game.

Another gamer on Twitter, alleges that after loading an old save game file, they are unable to interact with the shopkeeper and purchase the necessary items required to complete the quest.

Players are now requesting that the developers fix the issue as soon as possible.

Fortunately, the Warner Bros. Games support team on Twitter has responded to the matter and stated that the issue is currently being investigated. However, no official ETA for the bug fix has been provided.
