SiriusXM is a satellite and online radio service that lets users take advantage of ad-free music from all eras and genres, as well as news, talk shows, podcasts, comedy, and more.
However, like any other service, SiriusXM also encounters various bugs and issues. We previously saw how the app kept turning off or crashing on Roku. The ‘blank white screen on Windows’ bug had also come to light.
SiriusXM app audio cutting off
Some SiriusXM subscribers (1,2,3,4) have now been reporting a number of performance-related issues with the app including the audio cutting off every now and then.
Sirius app stopped cutting out? Anyone else NOT having the typical constant cutting out especially during the stern show? Tues and Wed have been trouble free so far. Give it a go and report back…

Reports suggest that some users are quite disappointed with the app’s lack of improvements. This also shows up in regards to the issue where it sometimes stops saving audio streaming quality preferences.
A user even reached out to the team regarding the streaming quality issue and got the following response. However, the fix that was provided didn’t help them in any way.
Moreover, the difference in the subscription fee (1,2,3,4) being offered to various people also becomes a point of contention. For instance, the same platinum plan was offered for $60/month to a user and $65/month to another subscriber.
It seems that one of the subscribers was also offered $5.99 for Music and Entertainment. However, the team gave in when they showed them the $5/month promotion.
It’s also worth noting that SiriusXM will increase the cost of its satellite and streaming radio bundles in March. This change will also affect how much the business charges subscribers for music royalties.
However, the team hasn’t acknowledged the issue where the SiriusXM app audio is acting buggy including the different subscription fee that has been charged by the people.
We hope SiriusXM developers soon release an update that fixes the problem.
We’ll keep tabs on the latest developments and update this article as and when something noteworthy comes up.
