Pokemon Go recently received the v0.263 update, which introduced some minor bug fixes and improvements to the game. The patch also adds new surprises at PokéStops during the Carnival of Colors event.
However, like any other game, Pokemon Go also has its fair share of issues. For instance, we recently covered an issue where Pokemon Go was ‘freezing after Scatterbug encounter’ for some players.
Now, some are unable to transfer Pokemon caught in the wild to Home.
Pokemon Go Latios & Latias caught in the wild during Tour can’t be transferred to Home
According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), some Pokemon Go tour participants are unable to transfer Shiny Latios and Shiny Latias to the Pokemon Home.
Pokemon Home is a cloud service where a trainer can store all their Pokemon together. It is available for the Nintendo Switch and some mobile platforms.
It is alleged that when one clicks on the ‘Transport’ option from the Pokemon Home section, they get a ‘You’ve selected a Pokémon that can’t be sent’ error message.
Another player complains that even though their Latias has a low level cp of 449, they are still unable to transfer it. They further say that all the other Pokemon can be easily transferred except for their Latias.

Even though some have tried logging out from Pokémon HOME, signing back in, uninstalling, and reinstalling the game, but were unable to transfer both the Pokemon.
According to the Pokeminers’ on Twitter, the S forms of Latios and Latias (the wild forms from GO Tour) have been disabled from being transferred.

Fortunately, Niantic support has officially acknowledged the issue and is currently investigating it. Although, no official ETA for the bug fix has been provided.
We do hope that Niantic resolves the problem soon.
That said, we’ll keep tabs on the issue where Pokemon Go players are unable to transfer Latios and Latias to the Pokemon Home and update this article as and when something noteworthy comes up.
