Procreate recently got the update to v5.3.2 that brought a snappier, more accurate QuickShape, an improvised Color Drop feature, and much more. But some users are unhappy due to some unresolved issues with the app.
Procreate ‘Print’ option still not working on iPad after v5.3.2 update
According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), multiple users are still experiencing difficulties while trying to print directly from the Procreate app. The issue had popped up with the v5.3.1 update, and it still persists with the v5.3.2 update.
A user even complains that they haven’t been able to directly print from the app for more than a month.
A tattoo shop owner says that due to this issue, it has become difficult for them to create designs and templates for their customers. Also, they have to save the files to the gallery first, after which they can give the print command.
It is also claimed that adding more photographs to the storage gets challenging, as they have limited storage space available with them.
Users are frustrated and annoyed because of this persistent issue and have taken to web forums to express their concerns regarding the same.

Customers allege that even though they are able to print directly from their gallery or with any other application, the problem occurs only in Procreate.
Some also say that many businesses depend upon this feature and the developers should fix this problem soon.

It is also worth mentioning that even though Procreate had officially acknowledged the issue in January, the problem remains unresolved until now.
The Procreate support team on Twitter says that they are still investigating the root cause of the ‘Print’ issue.
Temporary workaround
We did come across some workarounds that may help you temporarily get rid of the problem. It has been suggested that you save the files to your gallery first, and then proceed with the printing part.
We hope that the team quickly fixes the problem so that one can print directly from the app on their devices without any issues.
That being said, we will keep an eye on the bug where Procreate app’s ‘Print’ option is not working on iPad and update this story as new information becomes available.
