New Twitter font gets criticized by a section of users for being too small or inconsistent; demand a revert

Twitter is quite a popular social media platform and is used by millions of people across the globe.

The company frequently makes aesthetic changes to its platform with the aim of improving the user experience.

Recently, Twitter changed the font on its web platform. However, it looks like this change has not been well received by the platform’s users.

According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), a section of the platform’s users does not like the recently made changes. Some say that the font appears to be too small, while others complain that the font is too thick.

And in fact, in some cases, the font actually appears to be bold. A screenshot of the same has been attached below for reference.

On the other hand, an iOS app user complains that the newly introduced font mostly appears thin and inconsistent in size on some Twitter posts.

They also say that due to a severe visual impairment, they require a larger font to be able to read the text properly.

Another tweep even alleges that the text displayed with the new font is difficult to be read by old people.

Several others do not like the new typeface and are now requesting Twitter to revert the recently introduced changes.

While there’s still nothing official, we do hope that Twitter listens to the demands of users and makes changes accordingly.
