Discord Android app users were able to get their hands on the AMOLED Dark mode a few years ago. It was introduced as an experimental feature exclusively for Android-based smartphone users.

iPhone users have been anticipating its release for quite some time. Discord had earlier introduced the dark mode theme to the beta users.

Now, according to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7), the dark mode has also been introduced to the normal users with the latest app update v164.0.

It is worth noting that this is also an experimental feature release, and there is a chance that users may encounter some issues after enabling it.

How to enable the AMOLED mode in Discord iOS app

If you are having trouble finding the mode in your app, don’t worry, you can follow the steps mentioned below to enable it on your iOS-based devices.

Firstly, you will need to make sure that you have updated Discord’s app to the latest version from the Apple App Store.

After updating the application, just head over to Theme settings under Settings > Appearance > Theme and tap/click on the Dark option 10 times.

Now, underneath the ‘Light’ and ‘Dark’ appearance settings, a new ‘AMOLED mode (experimental)’ option will appear. Tap on it to enable the setting and restart your app to reflect the changes.
