Taylor Swift & Beyoncé fans target Recording Academy after Ticketmaster for no SOTY & AOTY Grammy for artists

With the award season in full swing, the 2023 Grammys is also here. It aired live from Los Angeles on Sunday, February 5 at 7 pm EST on CBS and Paramount Plus.

Artists like Harry Styles, Kendrick Lamar, and Adele all took home big prizes at the 65th annual Grammy Awards. Talking about the nominations, Beyoncé was leading the pack with nine Grammy nods majorly for the album Renaissance.

Likewise, Taylor Swift won the Grammy for Best Music Video but much to fans’ dismay, her album Midnights wasn’t even nominated for AOTY despite speculations.

It is indeed quite disheartening for both Taylor Swift and Beyoncé fans to see no SOTY and AOTY Grammy for the artists.

No AOTY Grammy for Beyoncé

Although Beyoncé broke the all-time Grammy-winning record with 32 awards, the fact that she didn’t get the AOTY (Album of the Year) award is unfathomable for a number of fans (1,2,3,4,5,6).

As a result, the Recording Academy has come under displeased fans’ scrutiny for not honoring Beyoncé with the AOTY. While others are convinced that Grammy has intentionally snubbed her for the same.

We recently saw how the Beyoncé Ticketmaster presale via the O2 Priority app became a mess. Fans are now targeting Ticketmaster because of the recent Grammy incident.

Apparently, the ticket-selling platform has already started waitlisting fans (1,2,3,4,5) for Beyoncé concerts and they find it absolutely ridiculous.
