Twitch just made its own version of Wrapped or Replay. The platform is now giving a Recap 2022 that shows users their top categories, most spammed emotes, and the number of hours they spent on Twitch in 2022.
Apart from that, it also gives a statistical figure of Unique tags, New streamers, chat messages sent, and so on.
Twitch Recap 2022 moderated channels issue
However, some users (1,2,3,4,5) have also come to the conclusion that according to Twitch Recap 2022 they were a mod for a number of channels.
Thanks to the #TwitchRecap I found out that I’m a mod in a lot of channels and have no idea how to find out which ones on #twitch

twitch recap told me I mod for 13 channels and have done so for 8 hours and I promise you I havent done my job a day in my life

It seems that users are not even aware of the channels they were labeled mods for as the stats only represent figures.
Some also believe that these figures are incorrect as it shows abysmally high numbers of channels for the same.
This is quite confusing for a bunch of users as there’s no way they can ascertain that information with utmost accuracy.
However, Twitch support has provided a link where they can view the channels they were mods.
Hey there Richard, you should be able to see what channels you are a mod for by following this link

Twitch hours incorrect
Apart from the mod confusion, some Twitch users (1,2,3,4,5) are also reporting an issue where they are seeing an unusual number of mod hours.
Twitch recap showed me that I turned into a mod for 7 hours and I absolutely have no idea where I was a mod or when that happened. The confusion is real

Users are convinced that Twitch Recap 2022 is showing an incorrect number of mod hours as they were never really streamed for the hours as calculated by the platform.
This is quite frustrating as the Recap 2022 is explicitly showing incorrect data to a number of users.
Unfortunately, Twitch hasn’t commented on the issue where users are seeing an incorrect number of mod hours.
We’ll keep tabs on the latest developments and update this article as and when something noteworthy comes up.
