Pandora's Spotify Wrapped equivalent (Playback year-in-review) no longer available, confirms company

Popular music services have discovered their own way to end the year which is by showing users a recap of the whole year. It shows the songs they’ve played the most and the top artists they listened to.

And since this year-end is approaching, music streaming services have started rolling out their 2022 summaries to their users.

Every other service has its own way to summarize the whole year. Spotify has released Wrapped 2022, while YouTube Music and Apple Music are rolling out ‘Recap 2022‘ and ‘Replay 2022‘ respectively.

And equivalent to Spotify’s Wrapped, Pandora music service has ‘Playback year-in-review’. However, those who use Pandora are reporting that they didn’t get their version of wrapped for 2022 yet.

After Spotify released it’s Wrapped, Pandora users are also waiting to see the same on their app. A section of users has taken to Twitter asking when they can see Pandora’s “wrapped.”

But as it turns out, Pandora has no plans to share a recap for this year with its users. The company has already confirmed that ‘Playback year-in-review’ is no longer available.

Pandora support didn’t provide any apparent reason for calling off their recap feature. This means those who use Pandora as their primary music streaming service won’t be able to check their music streaming summary for 2022.

This left some disappointed and they’re now demanding (1, 2, 3) Pandora to bring ‘Playback year-in-review’ back. However, the support team is yet to respond to these requests.
