The Yahoo Fantasy app allows Fantasy Football players to create and manage their own rosters, make trades and view the latest updates regarding fantasy leagues and games.

However, many Yahoo Fantasy users are currently unable to access the application or set waiver claims as it’s not working or crashing repeatedly for them.

Hey @YahooFantasy your app isn’t working. How am I supposed to place a waiver wire pickup with my 1-9 team!? You’re going to ruin my season.

It appears that the app has been experiencing issues for the last couple of hours. This is incredibly frustrating as today is the waiver wire day which is arguably one of the most important days of the season.

It seems that Yahoo Fantasy servers are currently unable to cope with the traffic leading to the app and website not working or crashing for some users.

Others are also getting the ‘sorry, we could not reach the server’ error message.

Service outage monitoring tools like Downdetector also indicate issues with the app and desktop version of Yahoo Fantasy.

Unfortunately, we are yet to come across any official word on the matter. We hope the developers soon find out the root cause of the problem and fix it at the earliest.

We’ll keep an eye on this matter and update this story to reflect noteworthy information.

09:55 am (IST): Yahoo Fantasy Care has acknowledged the issue with the app and desktop version of the site and are working to get it resolved.
