Gotham Knights FPS drops or stuttering & lower graphics quality after latest patch reported by some

Gotham Knights provides the full package, as players can unravel mysteries linking the darkest chapters of Gotham’s history to conquering iconic Batman villains.

While players have been enjoying the game, their experience was dampened significantly due to issues like crashing issues on PC and Console and Legendary gear and blueprints not appearing.

According to reports, many Gotham Knights players are experiencing performance issues (primarily FPS drops) that are affecting their gameplay experience (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9).

Since the most recent patch, several Gotham Knights players have reported frequent FPS drops or stuttering. Players claim to be in a fight or a random situation when their FPS dips to single digits.

There doesn’t appear to be any pattern, particular location, scenario, or set of events explaining why FPS is dropping so drastically.

Others claim to have input latency as well, particularly after pausing and then resuming the game.

Additionally, the post-patch general game graphics are subpar. This happens even on high-end gaming PCs as well and on every graphic setting.

Yeah, I feel like the game renders slow when it enters a new region. I use SSD so it’s not a loading problem. Sucks that even a 3090 can’t play the game smoothly.

the game has been unplayable for me since the 11/07/22 patch. it performed well before, but now its stuttering all over the place and the input lags horribly. I really hope the next pc patch will fix this, I really enjoyed the game until now. 🙁

Some tested the game on all graphical settings in various locations, with different environmental densities and NPC/enemy densities but got the same results.

After experiencing these FPS drops or input lags, the only way to resolve the issue currently seems to be to restart the game.
