[Updated] Disney Dreamlight Valley 'not loading' or 'stuck at loading screen' issue being looked into

Developed and published by Gameloft, Disney Dreamlight Valley is a popular life simulation game set in a magical valley featuring iconic Disney characters.

The game has gradually become popular and gained millions of players since its launch. It is available on multiple platforms including Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Windows, and macOS.

However, players have also been reporting various kinds of issues with the game such as harvest not working, photo fervor not recognizing Elephant Graveyard picture, and issues with Restoring the Sunstone quest to name a few.

While the issues above affected a particular section of the game, the recently surfaced bug appears to have made the game completely inaccessible.

According to fresh reports doing rounds, Disney Dreamlight Valley players are complaining that the game is not loading or stuck at the loading screen (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7).

Players say that they can’t enter the game as they get stuck on the loading screen for hours. While many reports are from Nintendo Switch, there are also others that suggest other platforms are facing the same issue.

Luckily, the support team has acknowledged this issue and said that they are currently investigating it. However, they did not provide any ETA for the fix.

Regrettably, we haven’t come across any workaround that might help you resolve this glitch. And we hope that devs come up with a definitive fix soon since many players are unable to access the game.

09:57 am (IST): Disney Dreamlight Valley support has informed players that they have developed a fix for the loading issue that will be released in phases.

We have successfully developed a fix for this issue and will be deploying it in phases, beginning this morning. The first phase will be a hotfix for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation that has just begun deployment. (Source)

The first phase will include PC, PlayStation, and Xbox players, while Nintendo Switch players will have to wait a little more to get a fix due to the complexities of early access.

10:27 am (IST): The support team has confirmed that they have resolved the loading glitch on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
