Renown on Rainbow Six Siege is an in-game currency that can be used to unlock operators, weapons, and weapon skins. It can be earned by playing various modes in the game including Online Multiplayer matches and Situations.
Sure, the Rainbow Six gameplay is more than enough for players to stay hooked, but Renown serve as a nice additional incentive to play the game even more, in order to save up for cosmetic items they’ve been eyeing for a while.
Another similar incentive is Battle Pass points. The current latest pass is Crystal Guard which like always has an infinite number of tiers progressing through which will result in reward handouts.
Unfortunately, both of these features aren’t working expectedly for players [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10] for the past few days or so. There has been a slew of complaints about Rainbow Six Siege Battle Pass point and Renown bugs.
sometimes after a match the progress bars for the bp just doesnt go up and the points just disappear and the same shit happens with renown.. is this happening to anyone else? if i pay for the bp and use a bp booster i want my points bro

@Rainbow6Game @Ubisoft I haven’t been getting ANY renown or battle pass XP after matches. I restart my game and it works for a couple matches than it stops.

Players say that they’re receiving neither of them even after multiple matches. Some have observed that they start working following a game restart but stop again after a little while.
But that’s not all. There have also been multiple complaints about Alpha Packs progression not being registered where the percentage for an unlock stays the same after both wins and losses.
Lastly, a few users have complained about names and operator icons not appearing in-game sometimes, which can make identification really difficult.
The issues all began reportedly after the last patch. All platforms seem to be affected including PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
We are yet to come across any official acknowledgment on the Rainbow Six Siege Battle Pass point and Renown bugs. All we have at hand are the moment is Ubisoft asking players to restart their game:
Ubisoft has also been asking players to wait 10 – 15 minutes for the balance to be updated following every match. This doesn’t do anything though as many have already complained that they haven’t been receiving any rewards for hours.
