Original story (published on September 3, 2021) follows:

Set in the DC universe, Injustice 2 is a fighting video game that takes on the likes of Tekken and Mortal Kombat.

Released in 2017, the game is developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is the sequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us that came out in 2013.

The story is based on the events after the fall of Superman in Injustice: Gods Among Us. While the game was positively received by critiques and players alike, some aspects such as microtransactions were widely criticized.

Injustice 2 was initially released on the PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One, with the PC version of the game coming a month later. It also has a companion mobile app for Android as well as iOS.

Having said that, like all other games, Injustice 2 has had a few hiccups along the way. The latest word on the street is that the game is not loading for many.

According to reports, Injustice 2 players say that the game is crashing after the Warner Bros logo on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. On the PS4, players are reportedly greeted with error code CE-34878-0.

I’ve tried everything, reinstall old drivers that worked from the times I first played the game, reinstalled the media player, verified game files and nothing works. The game still crashes after the initial 3 splash screens. This is confusing because earlier today I play two matches but all the sudden the game just doesn’t work anymore.

Reinstalling the game, updating drivers, and restarting consoles and PC does not seem to fix the issue.

It looks like the developers messed something up that is causing the game to crash on multiple platforms. Maybe it’s a server-side issue NetherRealm Studios is unaware of.

WB Games has currently shared a workaround for those affected by the Injustice 2 crashing issue. It involves deleting and reinstalling the game.

But like we said before, it does not seem to fix the crashing issue for the majority of players. We hope NetherRealm Studio and WB Games acknowledge the issue and work on fixing the same.

When the Injustice 2 crashing issue is fixed, we will update this space so make sure you keep an eye out.
