Incoming is a service outage alert!

Is the popular video streaming service Netflix down, not working for you or throwing connection error? Please be informed that the service is seemingly going through an outage in some regions which has got affected users to route to micro-blogging site Twitter and other online discussion platforms to highlight their concern.

Here’s what service users get to see:

A quick look at Down detector – a service that gives a realtime overview of outages and other issues – reflects Netflix is encountering a glitch in some regions. Here’s a live outage map showcasing the same:

While reports are proliferating, the services’ official server status page doesn’t convey any outage. Coming to whether there’s an official word on the matter, well, it’s yet to come. But be informed, we’re keeping a continuous tab on the service’s social media and other official channels for more information.

IST 14:03 pm: It appears the service is up and running again.

Update 3: August 25, 2021

IST 11:20 am: New reports from users on social media indicate that they’re having issues accessing and using Netflix as the service appears to be down.

DownDetector is also seeing a spike in the number of reports, further corroborating this narrative that the popular VoD service is down.
