Google My Business issue where reviews are not showing up for some users still at large, no fix in sight

Google My Business is a free and simple tool used by millions of individuals and business owners worldwide.

It helps businesses manage their online presence across the Google ecosystem, including Search and Maps. Moreover, users can also share their stories and verify their business information.

In the last few years, numerous small and medium business owners have taken advantage of the service. Google says that businesses using the service often receive more requests for directions and clicks to their website.

Google My Business also allows normal users to leave a review on business listings. It is an important part of the platform since these reviews help other users know if the listed service is good or not.

Having said that, many users are now saying that Google My Business reviews are not showing up.

While the reviews are visible when they look from the account they posted from, the reviews are not visible to other users.

our clients are leaving us reviews , but we don’t see them on our GMB. clients can see them on their end. They have sent us screen shots to confirm. How do we solve this problem. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

I have a business Google page. My clients are trying to leave Google reviews but they are not showing up. Will they show up at a later date, or are they just not being received? This has never happened before.

Google My Business reviews not showing issue has been prevalent for more than a year now. Fortunately, some Google community members have shed light on the problem.

Back in March of 2020, Google had turned off the ability to publish new reviews. In April, the company reversed its decision and turned it on again.

At the time, Google said that they had stored the reviews and had plans to publish the pending ones, but no ETA on when they’d go live was shared. And recent reports suggest the issue is still at large.

Google My Business not showing reviews is a really serious issue for those who depend on customer feedback and Google to increase their business.

No one knows why a company as big as Google is taking so much time to publish pending reviews. Many business owners are now wondering how many reviews they have missed to date.

This is really disheartening for both users and business owners using Google My Business. We hope Google fixes the missing review issue soon.
