[Updated] COD BOCW Zombies Mauer der Toten bug teleporting players to different areas & even out of playable area on map gets acknowledged

In MMORPG (Massively multiplayer online role playing games), features like teleportation can provide a huge tactical advantage among other benefits.

However, having the same thing as a glitch which randomly teleports players to different areas on the map can be disastrous.

Well, the same is happening in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War because of a teleport glitch in the Mauer der Toten (Easter Egg) zombies map.

As per multiple reports, the said teleport glitch in the Mauer der Toten map is making the game unplayable for players.

They are getting teleported to different areas, even outside the playable area, on the said map and are instantly dying afterwards.

For some reason I was just playing some mauer der toten and my guy kept teleporting to different areas of the map and I does twice because I took damage when my guy teleported

Not sure what the cause is at all. But whenever I was playing on Mauer Der Toten tonight randomly for it seems no reason at all my character would teleport halfway across the map which would normally result in my being launched out of bounds and dying instantly yet sometimes I survived. Please fix this i lost 2 EE runs cause of this glitch!

It is unclear what the actual cause of the said bug is but the number of reports clearly indicate that it is widespread.

Also, there is currently no workaround available for the problem which is further adding to players’ dilemma.

However, players may not have to dwell with the said bug for long as the same has been officially acknowledged by Treyarch support.

This might mean that a fix for the teleport glitch in the Mauer der Toten map might arrive in the near future.

However, this is still based on our speculation as Treyarch support has not provided much clarity on the matter.

Hopefully, the bug gets resolved soon so that users can play the COD Black Ops Cold War zombies map without any hassle.

That said, we will keep tracking this for further development and will report back with more details when they become available.

Update 1 (July 22)

The issue has now been added to the official Trello board and has been labelled as “Investigating.” Here’s what it says:

Issue: In Zombies, the player will teleport to another part of the map sometimes resulting in death due to being teleported outside of the playable area.
