[Update: Feed cuts or blocking] Big Brother Season 23 episode not available on Hulu and Paramount+ yet; former acknowledges issue

Big Brother is based on the Dutch show of the same name and is a reality television show that pits contestants against one another after isolating them from the outside world for several weeks until only the winner remains.

The show recently got updated with Season 23. The story is the same – sixteen contestants are secluded from the outside world in a custom-built house where each action is strictly monitored 24/7 using strategically placed cameras and microphones.

But you see, the participants don’t just have to move in and live like any other happy family. Instead, they face off against each other in a variety of physical and psychological challenges, and the lucky winner gets to take home $500,000.

Anyway, the new season of Big Brother debuted on Wednesday, July 7 on CBS and Paramount+. However, since that very day, there has been a slew of complaints from disgruntled users saying that they’re still unable to watch it.

As clear from the above complaints, Big Brother Season 23 Episode 1 has failed to show up on Paramount+ for all. Users are still able to access Season 22 though.

But as it turns out, the hold up is in fact deliberate since Paramount+ just acknowledged the matter on Twitter saying that the latest episodes of Big Brother are made available on Paramount+ within 24 hours after they air live on CBS.

That said, it’s not just Paramount+ subscribers that are unhappy since there have been several complaints from Hulu users as well.

Hulu airs Big Brother episodes earlier than Paramount+ through their Hulu Live TV service. However, the first episode has been reported as ‘not working.’

Thankfully, Hulu has acknowledged the issue saying that their team is currently digging into it.

I turned my feeds off hours ago bcos every few mins u guys were blocking them. I turn then back on just now, to check in. Once again, blocked! What’s the point of having them if they’re already being blocked more than not!?!

Update 2 (July 15)

Looks like the issue of the lack of availability has been resolved on both Hulu and Paramount+ as we don’t see users talking about it anymore on social media platforms. However, the feed cuts on Paramount+ still appears to be troubling many.
