After a lengthy lapse, Xiaomi has once again started pushing out MIUI Weekly Bug Reports that aim to present some of the most commonly reported issues on various Xiaomi devices along with their status.
Bugs that haven’t been escalated yet are also mentioned therein with workarounds, if any, and possible reasons. The whole thing is a great one-stop solution for those whose MIUI experience hasn’t recently been up to the mark.
This report also effectively eliminates the need for rummaging around the forums for solutions to trending issues.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 system lag issue when playing games
The issue affects the MIUI versions V12.0.11.0 RKGMIXM and V12.0.4.0 RKGIDXM.
We honestly do not know what the moderator meant when they said that “the cloud control on 6/8 has been modified and will take effect within 24-48 hours”.
But from what we can tell, the devs are at least working on fixing the issue so it’s safe to say that a fix for the gaming lag on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 could roll out soon enough, possibly through an upcoming OTA update.
Incoming calls appear as unknown numbers on Mi Note 10
This issue reportedly occurs only in Spain and results in incoming calls to appear as numbers despite them being saved as contacts. This makes identification quite difficult.
Thankfully, Xiaomi is already on top of it and is analyzing the bug.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 sim detection issue
In case you are one of Redmi Note 9 users for whom the device can’t detect the SIM card, then know that Xiaomi has already identified the root cause of the problem and has even fixed it.
The fix should roll out as early as possible with the next OTA.

We previously highlighted similar lag issues on the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S with the previous edition of the MIUI Weekly Bug Report. And now the Redmi K20 (aka Mi 9T) joins the Redmi Note 9S with similar issues.
Notifications issue on Mi 11X, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10S
This one’s affecting multiple devices namely Xiaomi Mi 11X, Redmi Note 10 Pro, and Redmi Note 10S. Thankfully, Xiaomi has already identified the cause.
