Trello is one of the most famous collaboration and productivity tools on the planet.

It allows you to organize all your projects in the form of cards. From a single window, you can see what’s complete, who’s working on what, and what needs to be done.

The company always seems to be working on bringing new features to its platform. In February this year, Trello introduced the ability to embed Loom videos into Trello cards.

This allowed users to easily share and view videos to showcase problems with the team without having to leave the Trello board.

Fast forward to June, Loom introduced the loomSDK public beta, with Trello one of the first companies to make use of it. The loomSDK allows third-party developers to integrate Loom videos into their products.

Making use of the SDK, it appears that Trello has finally added the ability to directly record a Loom video from a card itself.

The company’s co-founder — Michael Pryor — also tweeted about the new feature earlier this month.

The best thing about the new feature is that it allows you to record the video from Trello itself and upload it in the form of a card.

In order to do that, you need to press the video button on the right side of the “Add Another Card” option, and you will be presented with Loom video recording options.

Users can also select the window they want to record. When you are done recording, click on the stop button, and Trello will automatically create a card.

Moreover, you can click on the Preview button in the newly created card to watch the video and even react to it using different emojis.

This feature is quite handy if you want to share a quick how-to video or if you need help fixing a bug. You will no longer need to record a video using Loom and embed it in Trello.

The Trello team even shared a how-to video on YouTube to make it easier for users to learn how to use the new feature to improve their workflow. Check it out below:
