The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 was launched back in July 2018 with a pretty compelling spec sheet for the time. It was designed for those who wanted the spirit of both a phone and a tablet in their handheld.
Its 6.9″ LCD FHD display fulfilled the needs of the niche quite well.
But the massive display isn’t the only highlight as the device also came with a large 5500mAh battery and an adequately powerful Snapdragon 636 processor – all encased in a beautiful aluminum body.
On the software end, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 arrived with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and has since been updated to Android 10. This means that the phablet has already been treated to all of the Android version upgrades.
However, the device was still eligible for the MIUI 12.5 update and has been a part of the Chinese beta program for the same. Under it, it was receiving regular beta updates.
But fast forward to now and the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has bagged the MIUI 12.5 stable beta update in China. It is obviously still based on Android 10, making it the first device to receive an Android 10-based MIUI 12.5 update.
The download link for the same has been given below.
