New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…….

Original story (published on June 07, 2021) follows:

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T is a fairly recent offering being launched in January this year. It aims to bring 5G to the masses with its extremely economical yet powerful 5G-enabled chipset – Mediatek Dimensity 800U.

Other specs include a decent 48MP primary shooter, large 5000mAh battery, and a Full HD+ IPS LCD display. Sure, the device comes with a plastic body, but the front is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

The only complaint with the device is the fact that it was launched with Android 10 even after around 5 months since Android 11 was first released.

Xiaomi even skipped MIUI 12 builds for the device based on Android 11 which is quite rare considering that almost every Android 11-eligible offering has first bagged Android 11-based MIUI 12 before being updated to MIUI 12.5.

Nonetheless, the wait for both Android 11 and MIUI 12.5 is now over as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T has now bagged the update in Europe. The download link along with the complete official changelog has been given below:
