New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…

Original story (published on June 01, 2021) follows:

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G lives true to its name and is one of the lightest and slimmest available devices with a screen size of over 6.5 inches.

At a ridiculously low weight of 159g combined with a razor thin width of 6.8mm, the device should almost feel like a piece of paper in the hand.

But don’t get deceived by the ‘Lite’ title as the phone packs quite a punch and has a pretty premium spec sheet. Performance should never be a problem with the recently released Snapdragon 780G processor that powers it.

On the software end, the device was launched with Android 11-based MIUI 12 and the wait has been on for Xiaomi’s latest – the MIUI 12.5 update. It was recently also taken up by the Chinese MIUI 12.5 beta program.

For the uninitiated, the MIUI 12.5 update brings along an all new Notes app, plenty of performance enhancements, several UI tweaks, new animations, and much more.
