New updates are being added to the bottom of the story
Original story from May 31, 2021 follows:
With the ongoing global crisis that is COVID-19, we find ourselves cooped up at home with little in the form of human interactions because, well, we are responsible citizens.
With all that time to kill, many have resorted to content streaming as a way of entertainment and to pass time, just to remain sane.
Luckily, there is no shortage of these platforms; from Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Videos, to YouTube, and HBO Max, just to mention but a few.
With our smart TVs and an increasingly democratized home internet service, we have everything to get us through this ‘cold winter’.
Well, at least most of us. It is now coming to light that many viewers on multiple platforms such as Roku and iOS are having an issue with this app.
According to reports, the HBO Max app is not working correctly as it keeps crashing and throwing an unknown error message on the said device.
Boo. Looks like @hbomax is down on the @Roku. I hope someone at @RokuSupport and @HBOMaxHelp is working on fixing things.
