iOS 14.5 came as a breather for a lot of users who were affected by ongoing bugs for several months on the iOS 14.5 beta build.
The incremental update addressed a big amount of bugs and brought some significant changes to the UI as well.
But looks like some of the issues weren’t exactly resolved as they have continued to make appearances in the later versions of iOS.
The Apple Mail not loading issue is one such issue that was claimed to have resolved with the release of the stable build of iOS 14.5.
Reports have begun to surface once again that suggests users have been encountering the same bug over and over on even iOS 14.7 beta.
14.7 mail Bug 🐞Anyone else having issues with mail not loading messages?
And point to note is that iCloud isn’t the only one affected. This extends to all other mail accounts as well.
iOS 14.5 would have been a relief but Apple didn’t do things right and it continues to haunt users.
Tracing the record of Apple, the bug isn’t likely to be fixed until a new beta or the stable build releases so, there’s no other option but to wait for a fix.
In the meantime, restarting the device should work as a temporary workaround, suggests a user on Reddit.
I have this also on 14.7. A restart fixes the problem. Did happen to me on 14.6 also. (Source)
Apple may take its sweet time to work on these issues so we expect users would be run into these issues often. But don’t worry, we will have this post updated as and when a workaround or solution is available.
Hopefully, Apple puts an end to the long-standing issue of mail not loading even on the latest iOS builds in the upcoming updates.
