New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…

Original story (published on May 28, 2021) follows:

The Mi 11X is yet another one of those devices from Xiaomi that goes by different names depending on the region you purchase it from.

The phone is also known as the Redmi K40 in China and is sold under the umbrella of the Poco brand as the Poco F3 in the rest of the world.

We previously highlighted how the device bagged an update last month that brought along with it the April security patch as well as a bunch of Dolby Atmos audio customization options.

Xiaomi/Poco has also been working on fixing some of the commonly faced issues plaguing the device including delayed touch response, battery drain, random reboot issues, display green tint, and proximity sensor issues.

While a couple of these issues have already been ironed out, at least on the global Poco F3, a large majority of the bugs still remain to be addressed.

The need of the hour is a major bug-fixing update that will address all of the aforementioned issues as soon as possible. And now, with the recently released MIUI 12.5 update, a window of hope has opened.
