When will EA servers be back online? If you are looking for an answer to this question, you aren’t alone.
Looks like majority of EA servers are down (not online) at the moment. Games like ‘Apex Legends’, ‘Anthem’, ‘Battlefield’, ‘FIFA 19’, ‘Star Wars Battlefront 2’ are all affected. We are seeing a lot of reports from users about the same. Here’s the error many users are getting:
You lost your connection to the EA servers. Sign back in to access online features
Complainants – irrespective of whether they are on Xbox One or PS4 – are taking to social media platforms like Twitter to share the development. Following are some tweets:
Going by reports, many users are currently unable to complete EA Account sign in or log in (Code 100). This Reddit thread here reveals users across the world are suffering from this outage.
So far, we could not find an official word from the company on this ongoing outage, but we are constantly looking for more info. Will update the story as and we come across any news worthy development.

Update 1 (April 22)
One user finally managed to log in. Here’s the workaround and other info they shared:
Just try to keep logging in. I tried maybe 20 times over 20min and finally got in. From what I gather it’s an ea server across all games issue. Probably getting ddos attacked or something

Other error codes like 918, 721, and 524 have also come to light. Users of games like Anthem who are getting an error that says: “This EA account is restricted from accessing Anthem.”

The servers are slowly coming back online now. Let us know if the problem persists for you.
Update 5 (July 10)
EA servers are down again. There are a lot of reports about it on Twitter currently (see here). We are trying to gather more info, so keep checking back.

While users are complaining on Twitter about the servers going down, down detector also conveys Battlefield outage. What’s good is that EA has confirmed connection issue switch games:
