Even though Realme could be seen as a top performer in the Android 11 rollout race, the users still don’t have Realme UI 2.0 updates on their devices.

The company’s Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) update roadmap is definitely punctual but doesn’t guarantee everyone a spot.

This is because Realme is only rolling out an Early Access program in the name of Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) update with a limited number of seats.

It is because of this, Realme users are all over the community and on social media channels to express the frustration they’ve been going through.

Users have been asking why they haven’t received the stable Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) update when other devices are already on the stable version of the skin.

Well, Realme has an answer to this. In the recent FAQ that went live, the company says each device has to go through individual development and this is why it takes time.

Q. Why is realme still providing early access programs if the stable version of realme UI 2.0 is already there?

A. realme UI 2.0 needs to be optimized for each single device – taking into account the hardware as well as the current software version and features. This means that while the stable realme UI 2.0 might be available for a specific device, others might still be at an early access stage.

We saw recently how Realme 7i became one of the fastest devices to make the jump to the stable version of the skin while the likes of Realme X2 Pro and X3 are stuck on Open Beta for months.

It mostly depends on the bugs that come along, the lesser the bugs, the faster you get the stable Realme UI 2.0 update.

This approach isn’t bad considering these bugs can be fatal for the device therefore, rigorous testing is required before pushing it to the masses.

But taking into account Realme’s own approach of releasing updates that suggest Early Access should ideally run for 4 weeks and Open Beta for the next 12 weeks, it can be confirmed that update cycles are indeed running late.

Realme should have rolled out stable Realme UI 2.0 updates to a bunch of devices by now but they still remain on Open Beta.

It’s about time Realme ramps up the development and gets done with devices that have long been stranded.
