Samsung is on the verge to wrap up its Android 11 rollout as the South Korean firm has pushed the update to most devices with its One UI 3.0 and One UI 3.1 skins.
Most recently, the update went live for the Samsung Galaxy A12 and the Galaxy A02s. And now another pair of Samsung phones are getting the new Android OS.
The One UI Core 3.1 skin based on Android 11 is now rolling out for the Samsung Galaxy F02s and the Galaxy M02s. Both these smartphones come with Android 10 out-of-the-box and share identical specifications.
That said, the Galaxy F02s is getting the update with the firmware version number E025FXXU1BUDC whereas the Galaxy M02s is getting it with the firmware version number M025FXXU2BUDC.
Samsung has also thrown in the April security patch for good measure. Both these devices are getting the update in India.
As expected, the update brings the One UI 3.1 Core skin based on Android 11 to the Samsung Galaxy F02s and Galaxy M02s. Hence, certain features will be missing.
A Galaxy M02s user also confirmed receiving the update by sharing a couple of screenshots on the company’s community forums.
The update weighs 1362.72 MB for the Galaxy M02s and should be around the same size for the Galaxy F02s. However, we’re yet to get our hands on a screenshot shared by a user for the device.
Nevertheless, now that Samsung has rolled out Android 11 for the Galaxy F02s and M02s in India, we can expect to see it go live in other regions soon.
