New updates are being added at the bottom of this story…

Original story (published on May 10) follows:

Cryptocurrency is the in thing these days with just about everyone hopping onboard hoping to become rich overnight.

While that might seem far-fetched, given how unstable things are in the crypto world, becoming rich overnight might actually be a possibility.

Of course, the instability even means that one might end up losing a huge chunk of money as well. So invest with caution.

Speaking of investing, there are several applications and trading platforms that allow people to sign up and begin investing in cryptocurrencies. One of the most popular of them is Crypto.com.

Apart from the website, Crypto.com is also available on Android and iOS (a weird name for an app, but oh well!).

That said, many Crypto.com users are reporting that they aren’t able to see purchased coins or assets in the app or website even though the fiat money has been deducted from their accounts.

According to user reports, the purchased assets or coins do not show up in the Crypto.com app or website even after several hours or days.

Needless to say, this has left many crypto investors frustrated beyond words since crypto trading requires immediate action to avoid losing big bucks or missing out on making those big bucks.

Luckily, Crypto.com has been responding to users via Twitter by stating that they are aware of the issue and are currently working on a fix for it.

Further, the team has also confirmed that the funds are safe and will be sharing more updates on the matter very soon.

So if you were worried about losing your money, there’s no need to. That said, we’ll continue to track the situation and will post an update once there are any new developments.

Also, Crypto.com isn’t the only trading platform where users are running into problems. Issues with WazirX, Hotbit, and CoinSwitch Kuber also surfaced recently.

Update 1 (May 11)

The support is now suggesting the affected users to keep an eye on the status page for further developments. The page explains the issue as :

Identified – We are aware of existing issues where card purchases of digital assets were not credited to users’ wallets while their cards were successfully charged. We are looking to resolve this asap and settle the successfully purchased digital assets to the respective user balances.

Update 2 (May 12)

The issue has been fixed.

Update: all missing credits have now been processed.

Thank you for your patience & support.
