Realme X50 & Realme X50m Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) Public Beta application goes live

The flagship Realme X50 series saw a surge in demand in China which made the company add more X50 tagged devices to the portfolio.

The Realme X50m and Realme X50 are the more pocket-friendly options and yet quite impressive.

Launching with Android 10-based Realme UI 2.0 allows these devices to go as high as Android 12. In the meantime, the journey to Android 11 is already on for both Realme X50 and X50m.

The duo bagged Realme UI 2.0 Early Access program back in January this year but the development took quite some time.

Even though the brand claims Early Access lasts for about 4 weeks, what we see today is contrary to the claims.

The company has, however, finally decided to ramp up the development and open up Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) Public/Open Beta program for the Realme X50 5G and X50m 5G users in China.

The released build comes with version F.09 and will appear on Early Access signed-up users’ devices automatically.

The build isn’t exactly stable but since it has been wide opened for a large user base to try out, it can be inferred that even the stable update isn’t far away.

Since it requires a sign-up process, here are the steps that need to be followed.

(1) Phone settings – software updates – top-right gear icon

(2) Click-upgrade test new-public test

(3) Fill in the information and confirm the agreement after the registration

The update may still have quite a few bugs therefore, a feedback channel is also in place to report the bugs.

Realme may open up more such Open/Public Beta programs for devices that have been lying in the Early Access program for months now.
