From controversies to genuine news, Twitter remains the top pick of a big chunk of the World’s population.
The microblogging platform offers every feature that other social media platforms provide except for the option to edit tweets.
The DM (Direct Message) feature, however, is facing an issue globally where DMs are behaving weirdly for some users.
According to the reports, Twitter DMs are either disappearing all of a sudden or have stopped working completely.

These issues of Twitter DM not working have been affecting users for more than a week now and it only appears to be expanding further, irrespective of the device people use.
Basic troubleshooting steps such as trying to re-login, uninstalling and reinstalling apps fail to resolve the issue. Even if it does, the effect is temporary, the issue reappears after some time.
Twitter support, however, says they are aware of the issue and the feedback will be forwarded to the concerned teams.
Sorry about that, Susan. This is something we’re aware of, and we’ll share your feedback with our team. For now, try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies and see if that helps. (Source)
Looking at the severity and the number of users it affects, Twitter should immediately take an action before it spreads to more users.
We will keep tracking this issue and update this article as soon as there is a significant development to report.
