Valorant came out for Microsoft Windows in June 2020 and has since gained a massive player base.
However, players have been facing several issues with Valorant including the crashing on PC, lost progress, incorrect placement, and Match History bugs.
The official Valorant Twitter handle and a couple of Riot Games employees have acknowledged all these issues.
As per the Valorant Twitter handle, a fix for the lower than intended master volume sound issue will be deployed tomorrow.
Also, the incorrect placement and Match History issues are being looked into and a fix will be out in the future.
For those who got placed incorrectly earlier today (should only have been a 1-2 hr window), we are still working on the fix I promise!

We are still working on a fix for players that were hit with the incorrect placement bug this morning. Unfortunately it’s a more complicated fix. Sorry everyone, and I hope everyone is enjoying the Breeze playlist!

While Valorant has already addressed the incorrect placement issue for those who are yet to play the placements, a fix is being prepared for those who have already been placed incorrectly.
Apart from that, there is a workaround for those who are facing the Valorant crashing issue after the latest update.
The crashing issue may be addressed by uninstalling and reinstalling Vanguard but a permanent fix is also being looked into.
It is, however, unclear what is the reason behind these issues as no specific details have been shared regarding them.
Moreover, it is unclear how long it will take to address the said issues as no ETA has been provided in the acknowledgements.
Hopefully, the game developer, Riot Games, addresses all these issues soon as they are causing inconvenience to users.
That said, we will keep tracking this for further development and will provide more details once new information becomes available.
