Samsung has been doing a fine job sending out the Android 11 update to eligible devices. The South Korean firm was late to jump on board the Android 11 train but has outpaced the competition by a long shot.
Early on, Samsung was rolling out Android 11 to devices with its One UI 3.0 skin. However, these days the company is sending out the new Android OS with its One UI 3.1 skin to devices directly.
Now, yet another device from the OEM has picked up the Android 11 update, namely the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 LTE.
The update is live in many countries in Europe such as Switzerland, Bulgaria, Spain, Germany, Poland, Slovenia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Romania, Italy, Hungary, Greece, France, and the United Kingdom.
These details were recorded and captured on SamMobile’s firmware database, according to which the update is rolling out with the firmware version number T505XXU3BUD7 and brings the March 2021 patch.
It isn’t immediately clear which skin the update brings, however, it should be safe to assume that it carries One UI 3.1 instead of One UI 3.0.
Whatever the case, you can expect to see a bunch of changes and improvements over One UI 2.5 that came pre-installed on the device.
Samsung has not yet updated the official software documentation page for the Galaxy Tab A7 LTE model sold in any country to reflect the rollout of Android 11 for it.
That said, even though the update has started rolling out in several countries in Europe, it does not necessarily mean that you will get it right away.
It may take a few hours, days, or even weeks before the update lands on your unit.
