Samsung Galaxy M40 & Galaxy A21s One UI 3.1 (Android 11) update released in India

Samsung has sent out the Android 11 updated for many eligible devices from its portfolio over the past few months.

Most recently, the South Korean firm rolled out the One UI 3.1 update based on Android 11 for the Galaxy A50 and A51 in Canada.

That said, Samsung’s showing no signs of slowing down. The company appears to be rolling out the Android 11 update with One UI Core 3.1 for the Samsung Galaxy M40 and the Galaxy A21s in India.

Some users have taken to Samsung’s community forums to confirm the arrival of the update for both smartphones:

Android 11 with One UI 3.1 is rolling out with the build number CUC6 for the Samsung Galaxy M40 whereas the A21s has bagged it with the build number CUD4.

Again, the update brings the company’s One UI Core 3.1 skin to both smartphones. Therefore, it’s missing out on some of the features introduced with the standard One UI 3.1 skin.

Apart from that, it also carries the March 2021 security patch to boost to keep both devices secure.

Samsung is yet to update its official software documentation pages for the Galaxy A21s and Galaxy M40 to reflect the rollout of One UI 3.1 or Android 11 in India.

The Galaxy A21s recently bagged the update to Android 11 in South Korea too. So users elsewhere can also expect to get the update sooner rather than later.
