Realme X3 & X3 SuperZoom Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) Open Beta program opens up

It has been 3 months since the first Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) Early Access program for the Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom went live.

Realme continued to push multiple beta updates that fixed bugs and improved system stability during their time in the early beta stage.

The Realme UI 2.0 update, however, stayed limited to only the early birds while a big chunk of users still awaits an application with a wider bandwidth.

According to Realme, the Early Access program lasts for about 4 weeks which is followed by an Open Beta program.

Going by that estimate, Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom should have received the Android 11 Open Beta sometime in March but unfortunately, it didn’t.

It is after two and a half months of wait that Realme has finally commenced the Open Beta program for the duo.

The users are required to head towards the update center in order to apply for the Android 11 update. Here are the steps that need to be followed.

Apply for the Open Beta via the Software Update Application channel:

(Settings > Software Update > Tap on the settings icon in the top right corner > Trial Version > Submit your details > Apply Now).

Although the announcement post doesn’t talk about the bandwidth, we expect it to be much wider than what’s usually the case with the Early Access program.

Before proceeding it should be made sure that devices are already on the version RMX2081PU_11.A.51/RMX2081PU_11.A.53.

This being a beta update doesn’t guarantee a flawless experience so in case you wish to revert back to Android 10-based Realme UI 1.0, here’s how you can do it.

Step 1: Download the roll-back package on your phone and remember the location. (Download link)

Step 2: Enter recovery mode to rollback:

Turn off your phone–>Long press the volume down and power buttons at the same time enter recovery mode–>Choose the language –>Install from storage–> Input your screen locked password–>Find & tap the rollback package to go back to the previous version.

Since the Android 11 program for the Realme X3 and X3 SuperZoom is already running a little late, the stable Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) update may take its sweet time to release.
