Is Overleaf down, and not working for you right now? Please be informed that the service is seemingly going through an outage in some regions which has got affected users to route to micro-blogging site Twitter and other online discussion platforms to highlight their concern.

Coming to whether there’s an official word on the matter, yes, the official server status page has confirmed an outage or site availability issues. Here’s what it states:
Investigating – We are currently seeing timeouts on across overleaf.com and are investigating.
Identified – Many users are experiencing timeouts when loading projects. We suspect this is due to networking problems at our provider and are continuing to investigate and looking at mitigations.
Be informed, we’re keeping a continuous tab on the service’s social media and other official channels for more information.
So we’ll update this page with relevant info as and when we catch hold of any. In case you’re facing the problem discussed here, stay tuned for more updates.

Monitoring – We have mitigated the issue and projects are loading again. We are continuing to proactively monitor the situation.
