Oppo has been steadily sending out the Android 11 update with its ColorOS 11 skin to eligible devices over the past few months.

Some devices such as the Oppo A73 and Oppo Reno Z recently got Android 11 as beta updates whereas the Oppo A91, Reno2 Z, and Reno3 A bagged the stable build earlier this month.

Now it appears that Oppo has geared up to release the Android 11 update with its ColorOS 11 skin to the Reno3 5G sold via Softbank in Japan.

The Japanese multinational conglomerate holding company shared the info regarding the availability of Android 11 for the Oppo Reno3 5G via a notice on its website.

The update will be available with the build number A001OP_11_C.13 and it will also bring an updated security patch to the device.

To check for the OTA package manually, you’ll have to perform these steps:

– Select [Settings] from the application list
– Select [Software Update]
– Select [Check for updates]
– Select [Restart Now]

Having said that, now that Android 11 is making its way to Oppo Reno3 5G units in Japan, we can expect to see it go live in other countries soon.
