Today, it is coming to light that there is yet another issue that’s afflicting users of the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro on OxygenOS 11, an issue to do with the device’s haptics.

According to a section of users, their OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro units have considerably weaker haptic feedback compared to the way they were on Android 10-based OxygenOS 11.

The vibration has become so weak after the stable update of oxygen 11. It feels so cheap and light even after changing the settings. It this a bug or will it be corrected with the next update.,.

After updating my OP7 to OxygenOS 11, the haptic feedback feels really poor and cheap. Before the update, the haptic feedback was sharp, short, and strong to give feedback that a key was pressed. After the update, the haptic feedback feels weak and blurry, and long-lasting. I tried different settings to improve my experience with the haptic feedback on OxygenOS 11, but no setting could bring me back my satisfaction that I had in the previous software version.

As mentioned, the rollout of Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 was a little chaotic and we saw the stable build rollout being suspended.

However, the update resumed recently with the rollout of OxygenOS 11.0.0.2. This brought with it the hopes that many of these issues had been fixed.

Sadly though, this issue seems to persist even through this update as users continue to report facing this bug.

At the time of writing, OnePlus was yet to acknowledge this issue, even as more and more users (1,2,3,4)continue to update their devices and face this issue.
