Google Forms is used worldwide across several domains. It is essentially a survey administration software and is a part of the web-based Google Docs Editors suite offered by Google.
The software serves extremely well for the purpose of registrations, feedback, and even conducting surveys in both educational and corporate fields.
However, Google Forms users have recently started facing an issue that hinders the survey administration service’s otherwise smooth operations.
Reports state that opening some Google Forms cannot be opened at the admin end as doing so throws a “Sorry, the file you have requested does not exist. Make sure that you have the correct URL and that the file exists.” error.
Trying to open my Google docs form and it keeps telling me it does not exist. I have been using this same form for over a year. I just checked Saturday and it was fine. I need to review the responses. I can click on the link and fill out the form but wont let me see the answers to the questions on the form.

Oddly, participants are still able to fill out the forms. But the admin end is unable to record the responses because the forms simply fail to open. Also, the link for submitting the responses continues to work.
From this, it can be established that the issue is limited to the admin end and is probably just a server-side glitch. Your form is most likely still intact or it would’ve failed to work at the participants’ end too.
Hence, there is hopefully no risk of any data loss as such.
Anyway, the issue has already been escalated for investigation and hence a fix should roll out soon.
If all goes well, things should start working as they normally used to without the need for any intervention from your end.
Therefore, your best bet now would be to simply sit tight and wait as there currently are no workarounds available for the Google Forms “does not exist” issue.
