Oppo has invested both time and capital in curating a custom-based skin that its device owners would like.

Turns out Oppo successfully managed to do so as ColorOS is the favorite choice among its Chinese userbase.

Favorite enough that Oppo had to lend ColorOS 11 to the daughter company, OnePlus in China.

When it comes to the Android 11 rollout, not many brands have an expeditious rollout program in place.

Designing and developing a skin requires a vigorous attempt and things may sometimes get a little complex for skin this heavy.

Having a good number of devices in the smartphone market further contributes to the factors that lead to a delay in the Android 11 update rollout.

Despite these elements, it’s natural for a user who has spent his money to expect a quick rollout from the company.

Oppo has recently commenced a series of QnAs to address the most sought-out queries by users. This has picked up the heat on Twitter where answers will come straight from the company officials.

The questions are pretty much on the expected lines as the first query seeks answers from Oppo about the delay in the stable updates.

Oppo put forward its Operations Manager to help users understand why it takes time for the stable update to come out.

She explains the update make its maiden appearance as beta and needs to be tested out before releasing it publicly.

That explains the motive of having beta testers in the first place. These testers, with their feedbacks and logs, help Oppo developers understand the loopholes present.

Developers then work hard to iron out these issues with every ColorOS 11 update iteration. It is only after these steps that a stable update is finally deemed fit to be opened up for the general public.

This indeed requires time and effort. But there is always a scope for improvement and users expect Oppo to cut down the redundancy to ramp up their development.

Oppo will continue to pick ColorOS 11 update-related frequently asked questions through this series and address them in the upcoming days. So, stay tuned.
