Realme 7 series was one of the most recent offerings by the company until the Realme 8 series’ launch yesterday.
The more pocket-friendly out of the two is the Realme 7 that offers great value for money.
Having been launched with Android 10 out-of-the-box, the device should go as high as Android 12.
The development is taking place in full swing as Realme 7 was quick to make the transition to the Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 but only as an Early Access.
And now it appears that there’s more to it than just an Early Access program. Realme developers have worked hard to stabilize the update to a great extent.
Stable enough to kick off a Realme UI 2.0 (Android 11) Open Beta program early this morning.
Users have taken to the Realme community to share the piece of good news with their peers. Many Realme 7 users out there have already applied for the Android 11 Open Beta application.
With this, the wait of those who missed out on the opportunity earlier comes to an end. Although seats usually are limited, the bandwidth is still enough to accommodate a big chunk.
Realme seeks an application on the basis of which they begin seeding the update. So, make sure you fill it right.
This sends out positive news to Realme 7 users as a few days ago the device bagged a beta update followed by the one today.
And if everything goes on the expected lines, a stable Android 11 update may not be too far away.
Realme also gives users the liberty to downgrade and go back to Android 10 in case the users didn’t like the new version. Here’s how you can rollback.
Step 1: Download the roll-back package on your phone and remember the location. Download from here.
Step 2: Enter recovery mode to roll back:
Turn off your phone–>Long press the volume down and power buttons at the same time enter recovery mode–>Choose the language –>Install from storage–> Input your screen locked password–>Find & tap the rollback package to go back to the previous version.
Realme developers’ hard work pays off as the company is seen to be quickly beginning to seed either a stable or an Open Beta program to more and more devices.
With this Realme device owners have every reason to stay excited and in the meantime, you can head to our dedicated Realme Android 11 update tracker.
