The Galaxy A51 5G came out last year with Android 10-based One UI 2.0 out-of-the-box. Verizon-locked Samsung Galaxy A51 5G units bagged the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update back in February.

It must be noted that the unlocked Galaxy A51 units got the newer, One UI 3.1 (Android 11) update pretty recently.

Now, the Verizon Galaxy A51 5G units are also getting the One UI 3.1 update based on Android 11.

The network service provider has updated its software upgrade page for the device in question with the complete update changelog.

Also, the One UI 3.1 update brings along the March 2021 security patch to the carrier-locked Galaxy A51 5G units.

Apart from that, the One UI 3.1 update also brings features like Shot Customization, Priority Mode (Game Booster), Eye Comfort Shield, PC Connection (Wireless DeX), Video Call Enhancements, and Seamless Galaxy Earbud Connection.

Verizon users can now grab the aforementioned features as the update is live as version RP1A.200720.012.A516VSQU2DUC1.

Moreover, those who have not yet received the update can manually check for the same and get it.

Samsung has been on a roll in terms of software updates ever since the three Android OS updates policy was announced.

The Galaxy A51 5G is also among the devices which are slated to receive three OS updates which means that Android 12 and 13 may still be on the cards.

That said, we will be back with more such coverage once new information becomes available so stay tuned.
