Samsung recently brought the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update to the Samsung Galaxy A50s, however, it was limited to users in Vietnam.

Now, fresh developments indicate that the South Korean giant has begun seeding the new update to users in India as well.

A few Samsung Galaxy A50s users from India have taken to the company’s community forums and Twitter (1, 2, 3, 4) to confirm receiving the new OTA update on their devices.

Earlier today, we came across an alleged screenshot of a conversation between a user and Samsung support on WhatsApp wherein the support agent claimed that the device will get the update on April 21 in India.

Well, clearly the company’s support team on WhatsApp has a lot to work upon since the update has already begun hitting devices in the country.

It carries the firmware version number A507FNXXU4DUB6 and weighs 1803.50 MB. Samsung has also bundled the March security patch with the One UI 3.1 update for the Galaxy A50s.

That said, the company has not yet updated its official software information page for this specific model and region with details of the new firmware.

It’s worth noting that this is not the One UI Core 3.1 update that Samsung is rolling out to devices in the M series.

Therefore, Galaxy A50s users can expect to see most of the new One UI 3.1 features on their devices after installing the update.

Now that the Android 11 update with One UI 3.1 has been released to Samsung Galaxy A50s users in India, it’s likely that we’ll see it go live in other remaining regions soon.

So stay tuned to our dedicated tracker to know more about the availability of One UI 3.1 to all eligible smartphones and tablets from the company.
