The Realme X2 Pro is the company’s first ever attempt at a flagship-level phone and they really nailed it. The device’s spec sheets would make literally anyone stare in disbelief at its actual price.
The device is now slightly dated being released back in October 2019 and has since been succeeded by the Realme X50 Pro. In spite of this, the X2 Pro continues to be a compelling buy.
Anyway, while the X50 Pro has been enjoying a stable Android 11 release for several months now, the Realme X2 Pro is sadly still stuck in the beta testing phase.
For those unaware, the first rollouts under the X2 Pro’s Android 11 beta program had initiated back on December 10 last year. However, the early access was only meant for the Chinese Realme X2 Pro variant, and users of the global variants could not take part.
This was followed by open beta rollouts a couple of months later though in February. But of course, beta software is not exactly everyone’s cup of tea and users have anxiously been waiting on news of a stable release.
Thankfully, an ETA for that has already been given out – March-end. For more details, be sure to check this coverage out.
Anyway, while Realme X2 Pro users continue to wait for Android 11, Realme has now rolled a new February security update which brings several features and optimizations. The full changelog for the same has been given below:

For starters, there’s now a new option to save a document as a PDF file from the print service itself. This is combined with several optimizations with the aim of making the simple act of taking screenshots a more seamless experience.
But this good stuff has been overshadowed by the addition of a new FinShell Pay app. The app clearly is bloatware and what’s worse is that it can’t even be uninstalled.
Nonetheless, the February update should already be rolling out already for everyone. But in case it’s not, the full installable zip will be made available soon on the official Realme software update portal.
For now, be sure to keep an eye on our dedicated Realme UI 2.0 update tracker so that you do not miss out on any new developments.
